Build Community with River Valley Bank and help the Teeters
WAUSAU, WI- River Valley Bank (RVB) is proud to be a part of an effort to help a Wausau family with very special needs. Meet the Teeters by clicking on this link http://www.waow.com/global/Category.asp?c=178695. RVB is partnering with Channel 9 to raise awareness about the difficult challenges faced by families with disabled children. Chris and Annie Teeters have agreed to share their story. Their dream is to have a home that is fully accessible to their disabled children, which also incorporates a community room for other families with special needs children to use for play, therapy, and group sessions.
“We believe that our job as a community bank is to help build the communities we serve in unique ways,” said Steve Anderson – CEO/President River Valley Bank. “With budget cuts and a tight economy many programs for these families have been cut, and their networks have been disconnected. The Teeter’s dream for an accessible home and community room would serve more then just their special needs. It could fill a gap for the community as well.”
A fund has been set up to begin the process of helping this project take shape. Donations can be dropped off at any RVB location or mailed to:
